Rev Michael Hutchinson (Vicar)
Michael became the vicar of St Thomas’ Garstang in February 2022. He was inspired to become a vicar by seeing the good his local church did in the local community. He hopes to do likewise in Garstang in the coming years.
Rev Alistair Barry (Curate)
Alistair became assistant curate of St Thomas’ Garstang in June 2026 and will be with us for about three years. He is learning from Michael about how to serve as a vicar during this time. He felt God call him to become a deacon and a priest during covid and longs to see communities where everyone is valued and everyone is continuing to become more and more like Jesus; “The best example we have of how to live life to the full.”
